OK.
But bear in mind public records existed about the events surrounding 2015 Since they occurred anyway
So it’s not like the press didn’t have access to those. The press doesn’t need urban Myers Permission to access the public records, just go see the public records. You are the free press, That’s what you’re supposed to do.
Where was the press back in 2015, not going to urban Meyer and saying “this is the public record of the events surrounding your assistant coach Zak Smith and his wife - Have you address this at all?”
I don’t know why the press is getting around to just asking about this now. It hasn’t been a secret or anything.
Maybe submitting annual FOIA requests about all coaches in the states where they reside, resided, and work should be standard operating procedure by the press.
As it is, I think it wouldn't occur to most people that this kind of conduct would occur - or most would like to think it wouldn't - that highly paid, widely respected individuals entrusted with huge responsibilities would cover for, and enable an abusive shitstain like Zach Smith, and pay him three-hundred sixty thousand dollars ($368,000) a year to handle the awesome responsibility of telling a half-dozen wide receivers how to run routes for barely 6 months out of the year.
The media household income in the US is ~$75,000.
But it should. You're right.
These guys should regularly all be raked over the coals.
Maybe this will start happening more often.
The guy who broke the story only filed the information requests because "someone" tipped him off... he wouldn't say who.
