Those two really surprise me. Felt like their gap was abused multiple times.

Golladay is the #1 on this team now, imo. I really hope we keep him beyond his rookie deal.

Why wouldn't we keep Golladay?

Interesting I thought Slay played a fantastic game. Didn't make their top 5 though.

It's not that I don't think we don't want him, not everyone stays beyond their rookie deal. Suh, Landry, etc. And because Golladay was a 3rd round pick, he's not eligible for a 5th year option.

I love the kid. I don't think they'll let him walk, but weirder things have happened. And if he keeps getting better, the more tempting a free agency free for all might sound to him.

I feel ya...

Good job Patty you said absolutely nothing.

Whatever. He took some blame for it but Patricia's right. He isn't an offensive guy. He doesn't call the plays, make up schemes but he does have the final say. Not surprising that a guy like you doesn't understand what he's saying lol. What a shocker lol

Which scares me in general. The league is moving towards such an offensive game, and Patricia is cut out of the defensive mold. He really, really needs to find a young, creative offensive mind.

And I know it doesn't matter a ton, but clean up a bit. Drop 100, shave the beard. In general, I do not have a problem with how coaches look, but when you call out someone in the media for bad posture and presentation, try not to look like a slob. The irony is just palpable in that statement.

I agree with BOTH of your points.

1. I think it is generally realized by everyone who knows anything about football that bright offensive minds are taking over. We need a good one. To me, it's AS important a hire as a head coach is. Be aggressive....throw a good amount of $$ at the best available guy out there. If he's really that good, he's only going to be around a couple years anyway.

2. I didn't think I would ever care what a coaches physical appearance was....but if you're going to call people out for their posture and talk about having some respect for the process....you probably shouldn't be 200 lbs overweight and wear sweat pants on a regular basis.

It reminds me of when Schwartz used to yell at opposing coaches "KNOW THE RULES" and then throw a flag on a play he didn't need to.....essentially costing his team a W.

1. Good luck. Patricia isnt going to pull some great young offensive mind. OOOOOoooohhh....i get a chance to work with the great matt stafford who just got back to back up n comming QB coaches fired.

2. Matt patricia was fat, had a beard and looked homeless before we hired him. I didnt really expect him to change his appearance once he got hired. The dude he said that too is a douche and deserved it. Patricia being fat with a beard isnt disrespecting any "process" in my book. Call out that Queens fan....i dont care.

Do these work like school grades where a 70 is a C, 90 is an A kind of thing?

As soon as you open your mouth to blast someone in the media about presentation, looking the way he does, I don't want to hear it. He does not get the right to rip others about their appearance.

1. Stafford is still one of the better QBs in the league with an arm that can make any throw at any given moment. I'm sure we'll have plenty of options out there. Stafford isn't the main issue. Blaming him and him only is pure laziness on your part. Get over that shit bro lol....

2. I don't give a **** what Patricia looks like either...

Isn't it amazing when Goff starts to struggle, the suddenly brilliant play calling of the Rams doesn't look as brilliant.

Easy to call plays when a QB is dropping in 35+ yard throws between two defenders on the run. But when he starts to struggle suddenly you see more screen passes and short throws on 3rd and 9 with the QB starting to avoid down the field throws.

On the lions it would be interesting to know how much freedom Stafford has. Like on the 3rd and long at the end of the game, why did he choose to throw it two yards to the guy he was staring down the entire time? All the other routes were past the sticks. Does JBC have so much control that Stafford must go to a predetermined spot?

If so, why sign a high priced QB. Any QB can make those throws.

3rd year guy vs 10 year guy. Sweet Matt is at good as a 3 year guy..

I think Stafford WAS one of the better QBs in the league. He's coming up on the downside of his career, and still has not won anything to date. Yeah, I get he needs a better team around him. But it's pretty well evident throughout his tenure he just does not make guys better. That is one of those things we will have to agree to disagree about. I just get tired of the excuse making for him.

9 times out of 10, I do not care either. However, when you open your mouth to rip someone about how they look in a press conference, you open yourself up to dumb fans like me to take shots at him. The irony in his statement is hilarious.

Maybe nobody else was open. It's the only reason why he'd throw it short IMO. He's not running for a 1st down either. Idk anymore lol
