25 million for how many more years (it’s about 18% of our team payroll)? Are his defensive stats this year really that high? The last time I looked, several of them were below league average this season. I’m in the gym, so I don’t have great access to defensive stats atm.

I have no number but that stat can benefit a SS who has more opportunities. Because you get a bigger + when making a play while a - for not making a play is lower.

That stat is comparing just shortstops. 29th out of 35. It also takes in account the difficulty of individual plays.
