Game 7: Redskins @ Lions Thread

Might have to consider it??? If this team was 6-3 at the break we should be kissing Staffords, Jim Bobs and Caldwells ASS. We have 5-4 talent WITHOUT injuries. 2-7 or 3-6 talent with the injuries we've had. We play hard and find ways to win. That formula is hard to keep up for 16 games. We need to get healthy to have a punchers chance at the playoffs.

Stafford is playing better than anyone in the NFL not named Brady......but we have no depth and our starting LB's consist of Whitehead, Williams and Van Noy. Whitehead is a fringe NFL starter.....Williams is a 5th round rookie and Van Noy has started all fucking season and NEVER gets his named called in a broadcast unless he's late picking up the back in the flat......which he ALWAYS IS.

Might have to consider it my ass. All hail Tigermud......he'll consider being impressed if we play WAY above our talent level for 9 games.

Oh, and unless Stafford goes into some sort of QB trance and throws 40 perfect passes we aren't winning in Minnesota.

LOL.. no need to hail though, no applause.. just win.

Oh, one more thing......IF.....IF..... we go into our bye week at 6-3 (we wont)......Matthew Stafford would be the clubhouse leader for NFL MVP and everyone on this board besides myself, Tony and LKP should have to write a one page apology to him!!!!

I agree with one thing......JUST WIN BABY!!!!

Win a playoff game and I'll kiss Matt Stafford's lilly white ass.

Just because there isn't photo graphical evidence of anyone but you three performing fellatio on Matt Stafford doesn't mean there weren't more on board.

JUST WIN BABY!

Both fumbles were forced. Great job copeland and thornton. Also hyder recovery was super tough. Give credit when it is due

When the players are lobbying the league office to make it a forced fumble, it is not a forced fumble. Here is the quote from the article you posted.

?We hope the league gives (Thornton) a forced fumble for it, 'cause he caused all of it,? Copeland said.

While turnovers played a huge part of this win, it wasn't because of "forced" fumbles. They were fumbles by a butterfingered RB.

Copeland got a forced fumble. Thornton blew up the play. Lions caused these turnovers. Only a lions hater would say otherwise. Someone blind who didnt watch the game and doesnt want to give the lions the credit they deserve for yet another good win

So you guys agree to disagree. move on, ok.

Hippo needs to admit they were forced fumbles. Which they were. Lions earned the win

lkp guys are going to post what they think is right, just like you do. Unless something is in black and white numbers or film, guys won't admit to being wrong including you.
You make your thoughts felt and they do too. You could post until you're blue in the face and they won't change their answer, just like when they try to get you to see something about a player, play, you don't.
It's like politics or religion. You won't get the other side to agree, rarely if ever.

If you leave it alone, they will eventually too. If they don't and you don't respond to it, they will be left alone with nowhere to hide. If you continue and they don't respond, you too will have nowhere to hide.

Lions players make mistakes, and opponents make mistakes in games.
The gray area is in the middle. No one should want to get stuck all the time in the gray area because then it will turn brown for him.

It is black and white. The fumbles were forced. He is trolling saying otherwise and i will bash the facts into his head to counter his trolls

But the tape shows they were forced. Give the lions some credit. Copeland and thornton made plays. These are facts. Jones wouldnt have fumbled if the lions didnt make great plays. Only the crazy lions fans on this board would discredit the lions and shift all the blame on washington. Slay twice, bush, thornton and copeland. They all made good plays on 5 turnovers forced in the last 3 weeks

You may be right. But how often do or will they agree. It's like pounding a square peg into a round hole. Try to leave it alone. It's not helping to call them crazy Lions fans, just like it's not helping if they call you the same.

Ryan Matthews's fumble a few weeks ago was bad technique...holding the ball in the wrong arm. One could then argue that wasn't "forced" either. Matter of opinion. Didn't see much of a stink being raised on that one.

Matt Jones fumble on the goaline was not forced whatsoever. Thronton blowing up the play....ya definitely forced but Cousins basically threw the ball to Jones in that case. The one on the goaline i dont even think was touched by our player. Lost the ball on the way to the ground....it obviously wasnt punched out.
