Within a few months ago, I did run into the beautiful LeeAnn Tweeden...not at a dog park, but at a LA KABC 790 remote she was doing with the great Doug McIntyre, with whom she does the morning drive...and yes, we both have beautiful white shepherd mix dogs, and we did talk about our dogs...

It's Daenerys - had to look that up too but I knew it wasn't Darius - kept picturing the country music sensation and former frontman of MC's favorite band, Hootie and the Blowfish, Darius Rucker.

Anyway, speaking of Sarah Connor, way back in the day when I was a practicing CPA, auditing Pepperdine University, we were having lunch at some outdoor cafe in Malibu and Linda Hamilton plops down at the table next to us. This was probably 3 or 4 years after Terminator 2: Judgement Day so she wasn't ripped but she was definitely looking good. We knew it was definitely her and not her twin sister Leslie because her friend walked up and said "Hi Linda." Nowadays, I think I would much rather randomly sit down next to Emelia Clarke.

Then about 15 years later, again in Malibu I was in line behind Chris Robinson getting fried seafood at Neptune's Net and the poor SOB was about $.50 short so I chipped in to keep the line going. He was very polite, thanked me and said he'd get me next time. I told "don't worry, just consider it a little something extra for the show at the Bowery Ballroom."

Uhhhh ...yeah, Dick Rod got fired, so um ....yeah. He can?t take UA to the Rose Bowl now. And then there?s the BCS Bowls M has won since.

You just gotta fly a dragon a breakneck speed on a path that cuts close to the sun and bam, time travel. Spock knows how to do it, which I guess means we'll be seeing Zachary Quinto on GoT now too.

...or I supposed it could be some 3 eyed Raven BS.

It's addictive.

The wife and I were like, "okay, let's see what the fuss is all about...let's watch the first episode, and if we like it, we can watch the next one, and see about it after that."


We watched however many seasons - 6, or 7 - in a handful of days.

The seasons are only ten episodes, though, except the most recent season was about 6 or 7.

The upcoming season is supposed to be the finale.

I think I'm about the only person left who doesn't watch Game of Thrones.

Never too late to start. It's one of my favorite tv shows of all time, if not #1. Every aspect is top notch between the story, the characters, the acting, the production value, the directing etc. It is most definitely NOT just another fantasy medieval story like it appears to be on the surface. The characters are very human and relatable.

Plus in the early seasons there's plenty of nude females and sex scenes to keep you interested.

The seasons are shorter, but the episodes are getting longer. The final season is going to be 6 episodes, but they're saying they will be nearly feature length episodes.
