No, the Republican's in Congress did not try to work with him. By the same token, the Democratic leadership in the Senate rarely let any legislation hit the floor for a vote. They all doubled-down on grid-lock, and that was stupid crap. I admire many an older Democrat when compromise really did happen. Very much disliked Ted Kennedy's politics, but the man knew how to govern and compromise when necessary. A pox I say on all incumbents who won't ever compromise. Good 'ol boys on both sides of that aisle that need to fade away.

I can't help that I am conservative, it is how I was raised, and it is part of me, now - I do see your point, for the most part - but you present them with such venom, I have trouble answering any other way.

I love stuff made of trees. I love using them for decoration at Christmas. I even love cutting them up and watching them burn with friends.

The Christmas trees I get for Christmas were already cut down by somebody else before I ever got them.

I just make it so they hadn't been cut down in vain.

Ironically I don't use tinsel to decorate them.

This is true...Trees may be a way in the distance. But Thanks I never knew Algae was way more important then tress.. I knew it was important.. But sometimes I miss stuff..
