If we miss the playoffs

The Philly games taught me one thing, Linehan/Stafford didn't have a plan. You would think they would be able to throw some short passes all day and let Calvin and Bell in the flat run in the open and get some serious yardage. But they kept throwing deep. Made no sense.

There were plenty of short throws of the 25. Two deep were completed to Pettigrew and Calvin. The one deep to Dickerson was flat dropped and Calvin had a chance at the 4th one. I am surprised they didn't try a slant or WR screen to Calvin though. He got attention so it was risky but still, they attempted one to Durham that was dropped.

Whatever they didn't do it enough. Not that I have any faith in our QB competing those short passes.

you rarely see it to a guy streaking down field in this offense. Which is piss poor considering there is usually someone bracketing CJ on one side. Our o cord sucks so bad he cant even attack the side opposite CJ with 1 v 1 coverage and Bush underneath. Linehan has no excuses this year....his offense has been horrific.

LOL. Check how many points were score and first downs we have. Durham and Burleson aren't exactly deep threats. They don't throw those passes for a reason.

I think what drives me crazy about Stafford is his inconsistancy. He misses wide open WRs, misses some very easy short passes, doesn't always put the ball in a place where it is a easy catch on some of the shorter / easier passes. I think it was this last game he threw a very short pass to J Bell that was behind him a bit. It was counted as a drop because Bell was able to reach around and put two hands on the ball but it was poorly thrown and it was a difficult catch. If it was thrown a few feet in front Bell could have caught it in stride and made significan YAC yards. That is the type of throw that goes down as a drop but is mostly the fault of Stafford.

CJ was 14 yds...AZ game only one I didnt attend..ill che,k out

be fair....14 yards is like 3 times farther than Stafford normally throws it. Must seem like the ball was in the air forever for him.

anyone rational that watches the game can see how many points we leave on the field EVERY SINGLE GAME.....that boils down to play calling and qb play. How many times are we going to run the ball just outside the 10 yard line on 2nd/3rd down? I couldn't believe linehan called that yet again last week. I don't care if you know ur going to go for it on 4th down.....4th and 8 from the 9 does nobody any good. We should be throwing to the end zone twice....but linehan hates scoring points.

I agree with all this. He seems to always miss even if it's slightly.

LeSean McCoy. I thought he was so much better than Reggie. Jackson is highly paid. Celek since you think Pettigrew is garbage. Peters,Mathis,Kelce and the great Lane Johnson.

We'll see if Foles lasts.

McCoy is good. Djax is garbage and did basically nothing. And since you love to give excuses they beat us handedly without Maclin and while starting a qb that has like 6 starts under his belt. They had the worst ranked pass defense in the league and we didn't throw the ball. And don't say its because of the snow.....the entire country east of the Mississippi had snow and the NFL set a record for the most touchdowns in a week.

Worst snow game by far and you know it. I live outside DC, nowhere near the same as Philly. Stafford threw it well. Drops. Cooper made some miraculous catches and Foles got time on the 40 yard bomb because the Eagles Olinemen was holding Suh. Same with Idonije on the Jackson TD. HOLDING.

I was responding to this

"Linehan gets this team to score points. More than that high powered Chip Kelly offense."

I was referring to Nick Foles in Kelly's offense.

i know who Nick Foles is. Do you think he's a bad QB? Why did you say that? im just asking a question, not trying to fight lol

I don't think he is bad. I just think he is average but going great in Kelly's offense. LPK was kind of ripping Kelly's offense and my point was an average QB like Foles is doing great things with it.

BTW...it's paying off for me in my FFL!

Good thing vick didn't play...we woulda lost by 50.

Good thing for eagles bush didn't play and they got the blizzard to slow down levy tulloch fairley and Delmas in reactionary plays. Plus the first 14 bullshit points eagles got due to refs non holding calls and bogus personal foul.

Bush plays lions win by 70
