Interesting Detroit Stats

Did you read my post? It has nothing to do with Stafford.

It can relate to stafford. Easier for lions to run like you said. Easier for Wilson to pass facing more run defenses. Says something that stopping lynch is the game plan and not Wilson

Stafford is Favre with only one legit target. Farve isn't as good as Manning, Brady, ARod but you can win with Favre.

9 of at affords picks intended for Calvin. It can hinder the pass sometimes forcing but the good far outweighs the bad forcing to Calvin. 27 ppg for lions right there with Seattle

Yeah, doesn't that tell you something? They still score like us but only get up 15ppg. I think I just won the internet.

Yeah, I just wanted to point that out since it can skew YPC.

I don't know how Stafford got invloved.

Bush pettigrew and burleson can move the chains too. We will see if we lose because of turnovers in the playoffs. The 2011 game it was secondary sucking and stafford kept us in it until the 4th. Then Titus fell down on the pick already down 10. Stafford played well though. Round 2 this year

That has nothing to do with stafford. They don't score in the same manner as the lions. The qb way is better. Run d lots of turnovers and efficient qb works too

Stafford has 3 guys atleast 6'5''....you want a stat to show how accurate he is??? go count up how many times he throws over a 6'5'' guys head.....hes not an accurate passer.

I would actually like to know what a true accuracy stat would look like for Stafford.

Plus points for dropped balls
Minus points for receivers catching nearly uncatchable passes

It's over 70% per PFF minus the unknown bailouts. Every QB has bailouts. What about bad throws because of pressure. Surely that can't count against Staffords accruacy either.

right...but all QBs will have a higher % using their flawed system of figuring completion percentage.

27 PPG and a shit load of first downs. Stafford is doing something right. Calvin doesn't bail out every throw. Many to Calvin are right on the money. Stafford does a great job finding Calvin even in tight windows. See TD in Redskins game as a great example.

You have to go back to week 3 for an example. Calvin saves Stafford a lot, even Durham has saved him on some catches.

When someone, PFF, doesn't include everything when determining a stat line its flawed. Its impossible to do. There is no way to calculate how many times a WR saves the QB, its subjective.

And bad throws because of pressure "can't be counted"? You're kidding right? That's part of being a QB.

"I was being pressured that pick 6 wasn't my fault"

Football analysts don't exactly have a masters in analytics. Like that tub of goo Bill Barnwell. He throws around all these made up stats and lords the over everyone like gospel. He's a bit like LKP.

That's their fucking job, quit licking CJS nuts for a few seconds and realize that he makes mistakes too. 1 in particular that cost the Lions a fucking game. He makes that catch we are 8-4.

Or if Staff doesn't throw an INT when we're about to score or a pick 6 we'd be 8-4. But it was just the one drop, eh? I know I know, there's 12 others receivers better than CJ and they all catch everything. This isn't about either player, its about after 5 years we go from complete crap to average. I was hoping for a little better.

Sorry we aren't 11-1. But we are damn close to it without blocked FGs in 2 game/shanked punt and 2 bad turnover game losses.

27 and 24 should be good enough to beat Pittsburgh and Cincy.

Zona and Pack no Bush and Megatron and we struggled.

Tampa you can put on Stafford but just know he made a game winning play to make up for it.

Did Calvin throw that pick six...and the other two INTs?
