That has nothing to do with stafford. They don't score in the same manner as the lions. The qb way is better. Run d lots of turnovers and efficient qb works too

I would actually like to know what a true accuracy stat would look like for Stafford.

Plus points for dropped balls
Minus points for receivers catching nearly uncatchable passes

It's over 70% per PFF minus the unknown bailouts. Every QB has bailouts. What about bad throws because of pressure. Surely that can't count against Staffords accruacy either.

right...but all QBs will have a higher % using their flawed system of figuring completion percentage.

27 PPG and a shit load of first downs. Stafford is doing something right. Calvin doesn't bail out every throw. Many to Calvin are right on the money. Stafford does a great job finding Calvin even in tight windows. See TD in Redskins game as a great example.

When someone, PFF, doesn't include everything when determining a stat line its flawed. Its impossible to do. There is no way to calculate how many times a WR saves the QB, its subjective.

And bad throws because of pressure "can't be counted"? You're kidding right? That's part of being a QB.

Or if Staff doesn't throw an INT when we're about to score or a pick 6 we'd be 8-4. But it was just the one drop, eh? I know I know, there's 12 others receivers better than CJ and they all catch everything. This isn't about either player, its about after 5 years we go from complete crap to average. 27 and 24 should be good enough to beat Pittsburgh and Cincy.
