same...one of the few guys that overachieved here. Also a little surprised you pull the trigger at 3-4 and 1 game out of first place. A 3rd round pick is decent compensation for him but i would have rather seen him finish his contract here and see what came of the season. I dont see anyone being able to make up for his production over the middle on this roster. That 3rd rd pick MIGHT help us get another 2nd rounder next year...maybe.

Two options that I think about right away.

1. They like Brandon Powell. He?s not Tate, but maybe they think he can replace SOME of the production.

2. Would Cincy be willing to trade John Ross? He has been completely invisible for 2 years....but would bring a dimension of speed the Lions haven?t had since Calvin was legitimately running a 4.3.....probably 2012.

Stafford sucked on Sunday, sucked vs the Jets, and sucked vs SF (padded stats galore). Top 5 QB's as some say aren't suppose to suck 3 of 7 games. Regardless if the rest of the team blew as well.



Being high on him is fine, he's our QB - but I don't get the high praise. He's had 1 problem his entire career and that's consistency.

That Abdullah fumble completely turned that game. Kept our offense off the field which killed our flow.....then Teez went full on Tabor and unbelievably played a back shoulder throw from behind the WR.

Hate to see him go . Does this mean lions are in give up mode? Not a great way to motivate your team that has been missing in action for 3 of the 7 games this year. Yeah I get it we needed to get something for him . I just have mixed feelings on the trade. I understand its business and had to be done.
