Lions's chances this season

Well, history already has the answer.

We will go no where.

We will get our super bowl draft out of the way, all the kool-aid flowing predictions, and the same lame ass personnel, coaching, talent missing shit will surface once again due to the lack of an elite front office, GM, and coaching staff. Not to mention LKP's ra ra rants along the way...

At the end of the day, all we can hope for is a lightning in a bottle coaching staff that can overcome the shortcomings of an adequate GM and inept executive office.

Only sharpie and paper available are the exact same color so I'm looking at nothing, but that's ok, that's the equivalent of anything posted by lkp so it kind of works out to be perfect, just like the lions will be next season!!! Aaaahhhhhh!!! Damn fine Honolulu blue Kool-Aid!

Deep playoff run for Detroit. Mark it in sharpie.

I hope your right but I do not see the talent or depth. You must have an unrealistic scouting report on the current roster and a crystal ball that has the Lions drafting 5 starters.

Even on paper right now, their a .500 team at best.

The Lions will go 8-8 with a lot of excuses, similar to last season. Only this time, the Lions won't have the luxury of a Rodgers-less Packers team. The division will probably be wrapped up by early December.

Green Bay can certainly lose 3 division games and 5 against AFC East/NFC South and at Seattle and Philly home.

Either way. I just don't think it will be us..though I hope I'm wrong.

I hear yah Mitchrapp. They are both gonna be in the hunt rather than us in the end. I hope I am wrong too my brother. Chicago got a lot better even if it's for one season. They are going for it.

Detroit swept Chicago last year. And Forte,Bennett,Marshall and Jeffrey, none of them got hurt. Lions own Chicago and will continue to do so in 2014. Chicago will be swept by Detroit, split with the other two in division, lose at NE, at San Fran, at Carolina. That's 7 losses already and still have Saints/at Falcons/at Jets/Cowboys.

here are the possible losses for the Lions

@az
@ atl
@ car
bears
@ bears
GB
@ GB
@ MN
@ NE
N.O.

Add in 3 possible losses vs. teams that they should beat and there are 13 possible losses on their schedule.

Lions sweep Vikings and Bears split with Pack
Win at Atlanta in London and should beat the Saints in Detroit

12-4 for Detroit 5-1 division and losses at Carolina at New England and at Arizona. Most likely scenario

that is the best case scenario. You are such a homer.

"Of the 75 players currently on the roster, and five more trying out to make the team, only three players weren’t spotted at Tuesday’s first practice – Ndamukong Suh, Chris Houston and Carlin Isles.

Houston’s absence is injury related, according to head coach Jim Caldwell, and Isles is overseas playing Rugby.

For saying in the past that he wants to stay in Detroit, Suh sure isn't taking a leadership role by showing up for practice, even if it "isn't mandatory." I feel like if he really cared about the Lions, he'd be there for the first practices with a new coaching staff.

Best case is most likely for the talent they have. Not a homer. Realist and this is reality. Loaded with talent

reality is the Lions have a QB that turns the ball over too much. Reality is they won 11 games in the past 2 years. Almost anything can happen next year but that is the truth for most teams. The most likely scenario for the Lions is 8 or 9 wins.
