Stafford makes a ton of winning plays. He's the reason we even have a chance in the 9 losses. 12 non QB lost fumbles, only 22 turnovers forced (below average), 3% more drops, some big plays allowed on defense, 2 blocked FGs, miracle FGs and injuries in the last 7 games are a myriad of reasons we didn't win more. Stafford did his job.


Stafford is incredibly smart. Good wonderlic and reads coverages well.

Stafford is very clutch in the 4th. Leads in comebacks last 3 years.


Stafford is a good QB. They'll work on the footwork.

Stafford is also the reason they were behind in a lot of those games. Ryan Fitzpatrick has the best wonderlic score on record and he sucks. He may lead in comebacks but that doesn't mean he is clutch...it just means that they were behind in the 4th a lot! Stafford has been nothing more than a slightly above average QB throughout his career but he does have potential to be better.

no...we all want to see the Lions succeed. The problem is that there may be a handfull of the posters on this board that were alive when the Lions were a champion. The Lions have ONE playoff win since I have been alive. ONE!! They have one playoff win since December 30 1957! That is ONE PLAYOFF WIN in their last 800 games. There are a lot of people here that would like to see the Lions be successful but it is hard to get on your type of bandwagon when we have seen this team fail over the past 57 YEARS. Read that out loud....57 YEARS!!!!
