My way too early yardage prediction thread

Thank you KDP. This is what I have stressed over and over in this thread. You put any QB that has the ability to make big plays and put his team on his shoulders when asked, and this team is in the playoffs, regardless if they lose in the 1st round or not. This division was PRIME for the taking. I would guarantee that Rivers, Luck, Rodgers, Brees, or any QB who is in the upper levels would have given them a 1st-round home playoff game.

31st in fumbles, most drops by far and 5 losses of terrible run game (3.4) YPC.

We woudn't do any better with any other QB.

Hoping the footwork drills dramatically improve his intermediate throw accuracy, cuz opposing teams are going to be scheming against those short dump offs to Bush and Bell this year. Stafford is going to struggle this year if he thinks that shit is going to be wide open like it was last year.

ive already listed all the halves throughout the season that we scored less than 10. Its absurd how many there are. Bad job Stafford. 0 vs a josh robinson led min defense stands out lol :D

most drops by far every year....common denominator is Stafford and his shit accuracy and zero touch.

Drops are not the QBS fault. Not all those low scoring totals are not all Stafford either. I just gave you one against the Giants where we scored 3 in 4 drives and the other 3 drive failures weren't Staffords fault.

of course that pick 6 that tied up the game was a pretty big mistake!

If the Oline did better on the first drive or Bush didn't fumble or the refs call the play correclty on pass to Bell, the pick 6 doesn't even matter.

and if your aunt had balls she would be your uncle!

If you don't think this team would have done any better with other QBs, I don't know what else to tell you. If you honestly believe that Manning, Brady, Brees, etc... wouldn't have made this a better team...

Just because Stafford hasn't had a single game in the last two years in which he had a higher QB rating than Manning averaged over the course of a year does not prove Manning is better. Just Manning has better luck. it's luck that over a 16 game season Manning can have a higher rating QB rating than Stafford can for a single game in 32 attempts. Not to mention every single game The lions were more injured than the other team. The broncos were the healthier team for all 16 games. Plus Seattle shut him down in the superbowl, and our defense is better than theirs, they just got Lucky too.

In fact if you take Staffords game against the chargers in 2011 and extrapolate that over a course of a season he would throw for nearly 6,000 yards, 48TDs and 0 INT. That proves Stafford is as good if not better than Manning. Fact, I am never wrong.

LUCK!!!! Plus Waddle missed a few games. Houston is one of the best CBs in the game, comparable to Sherman. Just not as lucky. We are better off without Houston though.

There I think I hit all the key LKP points. Contradict myself, use the word Luck atleast 5 times. Blame injuries, defend stafford with non sense, make crazy untrue statements, make a point to say I'm right to hope some other idiot believes me.

I never contradict myself or blame everything on luck.

Manning's weapons were very healthy. And they added Welker and Thomas for him this year. Lions added Tate and Ebron. Lions never even had a 16 game Decker like 2012. Half season Burleson doesn't quite cut it.

Lions also never had a Peyton Manning.

Even Joey Bluesky didn't go two full season without at least one game above the 115QB rating that Manning had for an entire season. That guy was really bad and had far less weapons than Staff had over the last two years.

Stafford will never even hold Manning's jock strap when all is said and done. It's scary you think Stafford will ever be "molded" into Peyton Manning. Manning lives the game. He's probably the smartest to ever play the position. His career stats are absolutely ridiculous. If Stafford is a third of what Manning is, I'll be happy.

Manning was an int machine before Caldwell. Caldwell made him.

Even if that was true, too bad he couldn't coach himself out of a paper bag after Manning went down. Wonder why he wasn't able to make Painter any good? He sure ripped it up as a head coach at Wake Forest too.
