My way too early yardage prediction thread

17% Stafford, 14% Rodgers. Talking 20 throws as 3% of Staffords attempts. And that's not even factoring in the receiver issues causing over and wide throws.

Stafford does so much for this offense and most of you take him for granted. He's good already, he can be elite with weapons and coaching. And more turnovers forced by the defense would help too.

LOL you just proved me right. Look at all those drops and receiver issues causing incompletion. Stafford was truly 63% or better. Plus you have press coverage, I'm sure you don't understand how an overthrow could happen from that and just lack of separation.

29 TDs (6th), 3rd down % (6th), yards per game (3rd) and Int/attempt (1.8%) were it was Staffords fault. Stafford is a very good QB and we are lucky to have him on the team. And now with the proper weapons and coaching he can go from good to elite.

Wide and overthrown can be for various reasons. Separation so Stafford trying to throw him open. Press coverage causing the WR to be late and an overthrow. But thanks for proving me right with all those other categories.

My eyes never lie. I have game tape as my back up and now I have your stats that prove me right.

you are such a homer. Stafford is slightly above average. He has had one good year. He has some work to do to be considered good and most likely will never be elite.

I'm not a homer at all. Stafford has good game tape and leads this offense. I can determine who is at fault correctly.

10 picks in 4 games in both 2011 and 2013. Stafford played well both years.

You can't say a QB that has 10 picks in 4 games played well. You can say he played well sometimes but sucked ass other times. That is Stafford...inconsistent.

Great you took the bait. You bitch and moan about a 2% higher drop rate, but dismiss a 3% bad throw rate.

We don't take him for granted. He has been doing the same crap since he's been here with inconsistency and thinking he can make every damn throw. It's time for him to put up or shut up. If he doesn't turn this offense into a juggernaut, something similar to how smooth and efficient Denver was (doesn't have to be the same caliber, somewhere in the ballpark), then it's time to move on. Enough is enough. The guy has had plenty of time to show he's elite, and hasn't done it. He gets paid like he's elite, but has yet to lead this team to where it needs to go.

The team has to continue to give him weapons because he can't make people around him better. You don't need a million skilled players on offense. You need one or two to drive the show, and a good supporting cast.

Re-watch the tape when the lions are in the lead. Stafford let teams back in it this year, he isn't a closer. Doesn't have the killer instinct or focus. Just wants to go out on the field have a good time and whip the ball around.

He falls back on skill to stay a starter, doesn't have the drive to be elite. Tape doesn't lie.

The 2% drop rate is a fact. The 3% bad throw rate is an opinon. Not factoring in separation and overthrows from press coverage or the fact that a high throw to Calvin is the best option somtimes.

Stafford is a good Qb. Period.

10 picks in 4 games. Same as in 2011. He played great otherwise and the team let him down for 7-9. Stafford and Calvin keep us in games and win games for us.

He's got enough weapons. The Lions have given him enough. It's time for him to make players better. He doesn't do that.

Elite QBs make players better. Stafford doesn't make anybody better. Ne needs weapons to make him better.

Stafford made Burleson and Bush and Bell and Fauria and Calvin all better. Durham can't be helped and Pettigrew is too slow. Stafford makes the Oline look better too.

Stafford 6th in TDs, 3rd in yards, 6th in third down %, 4th ranked by PFF, great in the redzone.

Only 12 picks his fault (1.8%) and comp % "issue" was more on the backup receivers and drops.

Stafford top 6 QB

Stafford 19th in QB rating; 11th in yards per attempt; 30th in completion %; 6th in INTs. He is nowhere near top 6. He is middle of the pack.

Bush and Nate played right around their career averages. The only way he help CJ look better is by allowing him to show off his ridiculous skill set by throwing him inaccurate balls that he can go up and get.

Fauria is a big red zone target that helped stafford.

Bell caught passes behind the line of scrimmage majority of the time, nothing special that stafford did.

You fail, no one with at least half a brain is buying the shit you are selling

Only 12 picks his fault (and low % given attempts) and comp % not his fault either with drops and lack of separation. This in turn makes QB rating much better. Bad number 2 and 3 and Pettigrew lead to lower YPA.

Stafford is a good QB. Top 6.
