Stafford first Lion QB in 44 years.....

I know how each QB has been supported. Stafford is more talented, makes just as good decisions.

you sir are a moron! Rodgers on one leg is better than Stafford. Stafford isn't in the same stratosphere with Rodgers. I told you the guys that Stafford is in a league with...guys like Tannehill, Dalton, Newton...you know...middle of the pack guys.
Rodgers had protection and his WRs got open that game. And Stafford had more TDs and 0 picks in that same.
Tons of pressure on Stafford that game, WRS weren't getting open.
Stafford outplayed him in Week 3 too.

You are picking a few games. Look at their careers. There is not ONE single thing that Stafford does better than Rodgers. Not ONE!

Why do I always feel the Stafford debates on this board are a lot like politics, with sides being split between die hard conservatives and die hard liberals, with so few moderates right in the middle?
Stafford is not better than Rodgers. He also doesn't suck. His season was pretty average all in all, and he's been better than average for his career.
Yes yes, I know, there will be those crying foul because he's the second coming of Jesus, and those who will cry foul because he's worse than Ryan Leaf. In my opinion both of those camps have their heads up their asses.
I would still take Stafford over the majority of the QBs in the NFL, but he's no where near elite. I think he has a skill set that could be elite, and he can also have games where he doesn't get out of his own way... a lot.
For a 26 year old QB, I can't bitch too much.

Stafford played better Week 3 and outplayed him Week 17. Block in the back punt return saved Rodgers ass. And the holding the refs allowed the Packers Oline to make.
Stafford also has been healthy than bitch boy Rodgers the last 2 years.

Staffords Pepsi can cave is a MUCH better commercial than any of Rodgers douch count double check commercials.

Nobody actually believes Stafford is better than Rodgers......and if they do, they aren't worth talking football with.
agreed 100% it's baffling to me why people get drawn into this Stafford debate with him. It's obvious he's goofing around/trolling.
They can't prove me wrong. They want to but they can't which is what brings them back time and time again. Stafford is a good QB, borderline elite. The game tape backs it up. The coaches back it up. The players in this league back it up. It's such a shame when fans don't realize how great they have it with a QB. Stafford is so under appreciated. Caldwell said so himself.
You said it yourself. They can't prove you wrong, even though you know you're full of crap on this issue. It's why you continue to post for page after page about how Stafford is better than Manning, Rodgers, Joe Montana and whoever else. You know nobody can ever "prove" one player is better than another, so you just keep the endless argument going for giggles.
Stick to posting sensibly please. You can be quite good at that when you try.

Stafford is underappreciated. He's a good QB. That is sensible.
If you want that to be your stance, then fine. I don't think people would put up as much of a fuss. It's when you leap into the ludicrous comparisons that makes people realize you're just goofing and don't really believe what you're saying.
I think he's as good as Rodgers though now. I think Rodgers is overrated and has had better support around him recently.
Rodgers was much better in 2010-2012 though but Stafford was younger and less experienced. Though 2011 Stafford was on par. The injured finger games kind of added up the ints that year.
Plus Rodgers in the same system since 2008.
