Stafford in Focus

If Stafford had Brady's run game and 28 turnovers from his defense, Stafford could win the AFC East easily.

If Stafford had Edelman, Amendola, Dobson and Thompkins he would have 18 TDs and 24 INTs

He would dink and dunk like Brady did to winning the AFC East riding on the run game and defense. Brady could have 25 picks in the Lions offense given Durham, Pettigrew and the slot WRS struggles. Brady lives off the slot WR. See Wes Welker then Edelman.

Both Stafford and Brady attempted 67.5% of their passes within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage. They are both dink and dunk passers.

Also...Stafford had 9 INTs while throwing 10 yards or less....Brady had 3.

Stafford threw an out route off the hands of a guy who is 6'7 with a 7'0 wingspan. Imagine him throwing slot routes to Amendola and Edleman?

Brady dinked and dunked. Stafford had more yards and TDs.
Your right, what was I thinking? Stafford is better than Brady and Brady had way more to work with. You are the most knowledgeable football guy I have ever read. Just brilliant.

Brady probably has the best deep ball in the game (or did in his prime). He can make any throw to anyone. That's why he's an HOF QB, and one of the best in the history of the NFL. Stafford will be lucky to serve him lunch one day.

And who in the hell has NE had in the past 5-10 years that's been a great RB? Ridley? Kevin Faulk? Benjarvus Green-Ellis? Shane Vereen?

yeah dink and dunk is stupid because it keeps the defense off the field and is poor game management, again what was I thinking? Brady was surrounded with offensive pro bowlers.. man I'm stupid.

I don't know how LKP keeps getting us to compare Stafford to guys like Brady and Manning. We should be comparing him to guys like Ryan, Schaub, Dalton, Cutler and Flacco. Those are his peers.

yes...yes they are.

calvin vs tate really?
nate vs Baldwin really?
durham vs kearse maybe a push
pettidrop vs miller pettidrop is a rd 1 pick that our gm resigned
broyles/ross/ogletree vs who the **** knows

so no where in there do they have a player that is better than ours....anywhere...ever...

Stafford sucked ass last year...

Calvin vs ANYBODY is a win. Are you retarded?
Nate Burleson? Holy shit bro ...lol
Kearse over Durham...sorry
Pettidrop is fine ....expendable next year if he's a failure.

Tate, Kearse, Baldwin are all better than ANY of our secondary receivers. Don't be fn stupid...

Take Romo out..he blows Stafford's numbers away.

Wr 2 and 3 were talented but hurt. Pettigrew has talent in some areas but lacks in separation. WR 2 and slot WR/TE is loaded with talent with the new players of Tate and Ebron. Calvin is healthier too with better fingers and knee. Bush/Bell are clearly talented. Pettigrew is less needed as a receiver but still will get plenty of blocking snaps.

Loaded with weapon talent, good QB, Oline set, Dline good, LBs good and secondary has plenty of talent. The Lions have as holeless of a team as you can get right now.

problem with pettigrew is that hes missing fingers. he has stumps.

I still can't believe we passed on Brady back in the day. I remember going bonkers after like the 4th rd that year. SIGH.

The funny thing is he may have never become what he is if the Lions had drafted him. With this organization they probably would have never given him a shot at starting!
