Stafford in Focus

problem with pettigrew is that hes missing fingers. he has stumps.

64% in 2013
59% in 2012
65.8% in 2011
63.9% in 2010

He can catch, just not that far downfield.

The funny thing is he may have never become what he is if the Lions had drafted him. With this organization they probably would have never given him a shot at starting!

Don't forget that New England wasn't either though. He never and i mean NEVER would have gotten a shot if Bledsoe didn't get hurt.

He had a very good defense for those 3 Super Bowl wins.

Not just the Lions, he got his start quick because of an injury. Imaging no one getting hurt as a 6th rounder he might not have started for awhile if ever.

Most teams that win the SB have a good defense. That is why a lot of us wanted to draft defense in the first two rounds of this past draft.

Saying this is a slap in the face to Brady. He didn't get to no SB because of their defense.

Stafford doesn't belong in the same discussion with Brady....ever. Lets take away staffords top 8 targets and see how he does....lmao. Douchebags on here make an excuse when calvin goes out for 1 quarter with a bad finger.....imagine all the excuses if his top 8 targets were gone?!!! Gronk, Hernandez, welker, thompkins, vereen, llyod, whitehead, Dobson....all missed time or are no longer on the team. Soooo...again...lets take staffords top 8 targets away and see what were left with and how well he would do. Itd be a joke...

Not to mention to bring the discussion back full circle....Wilson lost his top 2 targets last year....and won the super bowl.

Stafford missed more weapons. And if you count Hernandez you count Titus. Pats had better run game and more turnovers forced on D. Plus easy to outscore other AFC East teams.

Ansah, Slay, Van Noy.

Ebron was more of a need.

How often is a 2nd tight end a "need?" There was enough uproar when Pettigrew was drafted in the 1st round due to that being a luxury pick.

no he didn't.

Calvin injured plus missed 2 and limited in 2 others. Burleson 7 games, Broyles 8 games, Pettigrew 2 games, Scheffler 11 games (since you count Hernandez), Bush 2.5 games, Bell 1/4 game.

Young and Best 16 games each since you count Welker.

Young, Broyles, Gronk, Hernandez all Round 2 picks.

Stafford missed more weapons. Pats had a more consistent run game and more turnovers. Plus easier division.

Slot WR/TE. Speed TE. Big need in Lombardi's offense.

no he didn't. your math sucks. Brady no longer had his top 8 targets for most of the year or all of the year. You don't count best since hes been gone for 3 years now and has been replaced with bush. Stop trying to win the argument by adding in stupid nonsensical points like you always do. Its very simple....brady was missing more targets than Stafford.....by a long long long shot.

the fact youre trying to lump in broyles and gronk in the same category makes you one of the dumber posters on this site...gratz.
