Tigers and MLB 2018 offseason

"Avila says he can see the light at end of tunnel" Watch out could be the head light of the train coming back to RUN over the tigers again.

Granderson signed a ml deal with the Marlins. I wouldn't mind if he signed here. Probably could still hit righties and was always better on the road.

Hard to beleive nobody wants Iggy and why do I get the feeling he’ll end up in the div playing againts us 19 times this year

I agree. I gotta think we could have got Iggy for the same price they gave Mercer....5.25m....much rather have Iggy, IMO. Hell, he probably takes 2 years 7m? Just a guess.

this is so stupid.

What's next, they are going to change a "hit" to "contact with a good result" because they don't want to condone hitting something?

Do they combine players on the DL and ones who are injured but not on the DL? Like the day to day injuries..

Alex Wilson, ml deal with Cleveland. Its pretty sad that a solid pitcher can't get more than a ml deal. I'd take him back.

The Tigers don’t want to spend any money,
Why they didn’t sign Wilson or bring back Grandy.
Yet they signed a stiff shortstop for 5M plus when they could have signed another for half the amount. Cheap and stupid.

Not sure if I'm crazy or not but I'm looking forward to baseball season. Maybe we'll surprise. I hope at least Miggy is on point and gets me someone to root for.

Is this guy done? Derek Hill?

He can do everything but hit. Unlike JaCoby Jones, Hill has no power.
Most likely his last chance with Tigers.
The way it usually works is, he gets cut, another team signs him and he learns how to hit.
