You could make a decent argument for leaving Coke in, but I don't think bringing Dotel in was horrible, I questioned it, but it's not horrible. But you pull Dotel after the 2nd walk and you do it without hesitation because you don't want to put him in the position you did.

Another great effort from a starter for nothing.

I'm fine with Leyland bringing Dotel in, though I woulda just left Coke in.

Why is fucking Raburn, Young or even Boesch playing.... Not one of them hitting and they are killing this offense. You could cut 2 of the 3 and the team would be better.

Funny, the 2 things that were big questions were the IF defense and starting pitching, and they have been good.

The lineup and back end of the BP was supposed to be gravy and they have sucked.

The hurry up and cut this guy, DFA that guy, send so and so down, all that isn't working either.. going to have to figure it out with what we got. I think those three are pressing, Young looked absolutely horrible tonight at the plate. somehow, someway.. someone needs to figure out how to get these guys to relax and do what they can do, if you can do it sometimes, you can do it all of the time! too many guys over swinging.

Maybe require Victor to travel with the team for clubhouse support and mentoring?

Eldred was trash, we saw that.

Santiago is not any better at the plate than Raburn.

Boesch is hitting bad but still is tied for 2nd in RBI's on the team. I don't wanna see Don Kelly try replace him.

Young I have to agree with, he's probably in the biggest slump of anyone right now, he was over .300 not long ago....and he has no power.

Quinten Berry at AAA is not a real option I don't think.

What do you mean... Only Eldreds 18 at bats replaced Young after his drunken night.. The Tigers have tried nothing to jump start this offense... what dirks to second only to have the 3 clowns closers to each other. Let worth play second... I bet he hits better then clown boy 1..

Eh, the IF defense has been bad, but acceptably so.

Their OF defense has been abysmal, mostly due to Young and Boesch being as bad as any corner OFer in the AL.

Thank god Jackson is as good as it gets out there.

Their back end of the BP was going to regress, and their lineup was being completely overrated.

They have one very good hitter in Avila, 2 top 10 hitters in Cabrera and Fielder, and the rest of the lineup is basically league average hitters.

Good, yeah, but not really close to what the Rangers or Yankees are putting out there.

You have to do something to shake them up.... They sent raburn down in 2010 for 29 at bats and he hit .444 then he hit better after coming back up.. Face it he has regressed every year at the plate except one.... look them up..

He's is going to be a big part of the offense at some point, he always is.

I'm not against sitting him more often though, since it's obvious he's not hitting his way out of his funk.

The only fucking reason he hit last year in the end is because he was platooned down the stretch...Since 2009 his numbers have dropped every year. from 2010 to 11 it was a pretty big drop.

Think I'm going to have to agree with MI, the offense is running out of options, just going to have to figure it out the hard way. I'm too depressed to continue for tonight. i'm not starting anymore game threads that was horrible.
