I forget, I know we started out 14-17 last year, but I don't remember us playing this bad, I saw as as more snake bitten rather than just awful last year.

Entering today our record was the same as last years.

We just had much higher expectations entering this year than we did last season.

I do remember that we played a brutal early schedule last season, that probably had a lot to do with the poor start. We played all the tough teams the 1st couple months of the season Boston, NYY, Tampa, etc. I don't remember getting beaten up by mediocre teams early last season.

If he never gets going till the second half why not just sit him down until the second half? Realistic simplistic solutions elude Jim, he's too preoccupied with personal feelings and making sure everyone gets their work and or has had enough rest in than he is winning.
