What draft pick from this year will have the biggest impact?

Weird, somehow "secondary only" won them the Super Bowl convincingly over an offense that was putting up astronomical stats. What a strange occurrence. Must be like the Northern Lights or something. Got lucky.

Manning in the cold and backup LT and center to pressure Manning. Very lucky. Avril owns Franklin too. He did with Detroit.

Ahh yes. That luck explains them winning 900-7 or whatever the hell the score was. Keep reaching, it's all you got left.

Injured Oline playing for Denver. That is luck for Seattle every play. A couple turnovers got the game out of hand and nice special teams return.

you do realize that Denver's all pro LT was out for the entire season and Denver won one of the best divisions in the NFL and made it to the SB. The Lions have a few minor injuries and they can't even get to .500 in one of the weakest divisions in the NFL!

You underrate the Lions injuries. Lions had injuries at DE for both, WR 2 and 3 half the year, number 1 WR banged up all year, Houston played hurt and it really hurt Detroit, Bush missed 2.5 games, Bentley 3.5 games, Waddle 3 games and didn't play 5 others. Major injuries especially during the losing stretch.

The AFC West is junk. KC and San Diego very overrated. KC has no offense either. Alex Smith junk. Manning barely had any weapon injuries. Welker for like 3 games.

But I thought the Lions will be better without Houston??? AHHHH THE MADNESS!!!!

Oh yeah that Bentley injury really hurt the team big time. And Bush missed TWO GAMES. Come on man. Teams have to deal with injuries to major players for the entire year.

no....you over estimate the impact of the Lion's injuries.

As far as the AFC West. 3 teams made the playoffs including the 3rd place team that was 97 (a record that would have won the NFC North) As a division they had a +249 point differential and as a division went 37-27 which means they were 25-15 outside of the AFC west.

Here are the impressive stats from the NFC north. The winner was 8-7-1. Combined record of 28-34-2 with a -114 point differential. Outside of the division they were 16-22.

A healthy Houston. An injured any player playing will hurt you.

Bush missed 2.5 games. 2 losses, we overcame him against Wash but didn't run it very well overall on the day. No run game either day against Zona second half or Eagles game. 2 losses is big, meant winning division.

Houston playing hurt, Jones/Ansah hurt and concentrated WR injuries were huge injuries (including Calvin). Strength of the team

none of those injuries is a big deal except for CJ and he only missed 2 games? A good QB can make up for the loss of secondary WRs.

The DEs and WR 2/3 are a huge deal considering how much they double/triple Calvin. Calvin played hurt with knee plus had broken fingers. Bush injury was huge at a different games than Calvin. Houston playing hurt cost us 3 games. Houston missing 4 games Slay, Greenwood and Green picked up the slack nicely. Waddle not playing hurt the run game when needed.

The Lions had significant injuries. You are clueless if you think otherwise. They were the more injured team in 7 of 9 losses.

Who doesn't have significant injuries? Green Bay lost their star for a long part of the year, and wouldn't you know it, still found a way to finish better than Detroit.

Maybe they played a bunch of injured teams too. Maybe GB was the healthier team. Week 5 against Detroit they were.

And without their star they went 2-5-1. Rodgers gave them a one game cushion. They won by a tie.

Maybe, maybe, maybe. You know your argument is starting to really slip when that's the best you got.

the thing you don't get is the teams that have deep rosters can overcome these kinds of injuries. Shit...one of the Lion's starting DE's would be a back up on 3/4 of NFL teams!

It's not a maybe. Atlanta more hurt, Detroit more hurt Week 5, Chicago more hurt Week 17, Chicago equally as hurt game 1 with them.

Vikings missing Harrison Smith negating losses of Jones, Cobb and Finley. Nelson/Boykin and Lacy/Starks is enough to beat Minnesota. Detroit lost run game with Waddle and Calvin/Pettigrew. Burleson/Ogletree/Fauria not enough.

Beat Wash/Cle with Rodgers. Dallas epic collapse against Flynn.

Rodgers beat Baltimore missing Jones/Cobb for half game.

Willie Young played well. But then Ansah got hurt. Concentrated injuries at CB, WR and DE. 3rd/4th string is too much for WR and CB. Nobody is that deep. And Houston playing hurt is bad really not him missing time. Anyone playing hurt trumps missing somebody.

Green Bay loses starting LT, starting QB, Starting TE, various WR, many defensive players. Way more injured than the lions.

GB was the healthier teams in most of their wins. I just proved that. Oooo they were more hurt against Redskins (still had all WRs/TE) and Cle (lost Jones and Finley half game). Jones didn't miss that much time and Nelson was healthy all year.

GB got lucky in 5 of their wins to be the healthier team

every team has guys that play hurt every week. Other teams had games where more important players miss time. Most of the guys you are talking about are middle of the road players on most teams. Young, Ansah, Houston, Broyles, Burleson don't even start on SF or Seattle!
