2016 Draft- Who ya got?

We are the 6th pick now. LT is probably gone. Best defensive player.

Theres like 3 top 10 projected LTs. All are better than the garbage we play at RT. We literally have a guy named Ola on our oline lmao. He literally ole's like a matador and lets the dline in on every play.

No sacks allowed with him. He sucks in run blocking though

Get Treadwell....trade calvin.

Keep staff until 2017. don't like any qb options at the top of this draft.

No sacks allowed on Sunday. He had a good pass pro grade on Sunday. Judge more than one play

More weapns?? I like the guy too, and absolutely hate how much CJ is going to cost us next year, but I just can't see how we can make WR our first pick in the draft. If it happened I wouldn't be pissed about it, but it would seem like a typical Lions move. Wed all be bitching about how well so and so is playing at a position that was a need come draft time.

Detroit Lions Should Benefit From New NFL Draft Rule.

In the past, the Lions have shown a penchant for bundling draft picks to trade up and draft players they really like (Alex Carter, Gabe Wright and Kyle Van Noy, for starters).

We traded our 3rd round pick to move up and draft Gabe fucking Wright? Fuck you Mayhew

We traded a future 3rd for a current 4th (which we didn't have). That is the correct value and 4th was correct value for Wright. The 4th and 5th original picks were part of the Ngata deal (the proper move compared to the FAs available).

The Lions have 11 picks (including a 3rd for Suh that is now tradeable.) this year, there is plenty of talent left and they have a good cap situaiton.

Mayhew left us in good shape in alot of ways.

He didn't leave us. He got fired for being a complete fuck up.

Mayhew was unjustly fired from injuries. Hope we get a gm as good as him

Many injuries to important players.

But lions will build on their great building blocks

I want Stanley or tunsil

Mayhew was fired for the inability to do the single most important thing a GM needs to do... manage the cap.

Mayhew was fired for the inability to do the second most important thing a GM needs to do.... scout and recognize talent.

Mayhew was fired for the inability to do the third most important thing a GM needs to do... sign quality free agents at the RIGHT price.

That's not to say he didn't have a few hits along the way, but the number of swing and misses was too much, and the ownership knew they would never be a true championship team with him at the helm.

This season was not his downfall. It was the capper.

You can argue that all you want, but it's absolutely true. I don't think he did any worse than the average GM out there, and I was fine with him, because the top GMs are rare and hard to find. But even I know it was over for him, and I would have done the same thing if I was running the team.

It never was a consistent situating with him here because he clearly showed he was incapable of having a plan. Avril, safety injuries with delmas, then 3 lbs were up for contract, then we didn't have enough weapons, then suh/fairley and the oline....he was always reactionary. He built in preexisting excuses why we were going to suck every year.

Ink, the guy was 40-72 as a GM. Entire draft classes vanish. He has picked 2nd round picks which don't see the field, and has done the "smartest man in the room" thing that Millen did so well.

He did MUCH worse than any average GM. If he was an average GM and occasionally, you know, had good drafts, this franchise would be in MUCH better shape.

The reason I say he is "average" is because I don't think about half of the GMs in the league know what they are doing really.

So many teams making bad high priced free agents signings. So many teams that seem to enter the draft with a 20 sided die and a dart board as their draft strategy.

I would say there are about 12 really solid GMs in the league. About 5 of them are head and shoulders above the rest. Everyone else should be fired, and since Mayhew was in that class... he's average to me.

Unfortunately, in that position, there really is no "below average". You are a winner, or you are are loser, and since half the teams don't make the playoffs every year, loser is "average".

Now it's Robert's turn to do something dumb...

The Atlanta Police Department added that police found a small amount of what was suspected to be marijuana in the hotel room. GI Squad and a Narcotics Unit responded to the scene with a Crime Scene Unit, according to a report released Sunday afternoon to The Clarion-Ledger.

?It appears that the victim broke the window and then walked approximately 15 feet and climbed over a wall and fell approximately 15 feet,? according to the report.

Ronnie Stanley. All our best players come from Notre Dame.
