Why can't we have a QB that hits you in the hands or chest. Fk.

Get StartedYes dropping passes is human but that throw on the two point conversion had no shot to be caught.. Frustrating but Matt is really regressing this year.. He has thrown the ball so poorly this year..He needs to admit that and so does our coaching staff instead of defending him..
Agreed bob....analysts even after the game kept saying calvin dropped it....I thought it was a horrid throw by staff.

Both throws to Calvin were good throws. And the 2 point conversion throw was a good throw. Sometimes you have to sit down against a zone. Calvin should have caught all 3.
I knew staff was going to have shit day the second his first pass was thrown 5 yards over Reggies head on a dump down. Its amazing to me how much he does that.
I didn't see the 2 point conversion. The first throw to CJ was a good throw and CJ 100% dropped that ball. The second was NOT a good throw. CJ was WIDE open running across the field. A good throw is out in front and at hand level so he can catch it in stride. Stafford's pass was low and behind causing CJ to slow to a near stop & to go to his knees to get his hands on it. Should he have caught the ball....yes....he is the highest paid WR in the league! But, it was NOT a good throw~!
It was not low, it hit him right in the chest and he stopped in the middle of the zone. Drop by Calvin.
Didn't see the 2 point? How is that possible in such a huge game? The last TD drive was pretty great by Stafford and his weapons. Good throws in tight coverage.
Stopped in the zone. Off his hands not low. That was a perfect pass to beat a zone. 99% on Calvin for that drop.
tried to stop because the ball was behind him and low. It hit his hands below his waistline while bending down trying to stop. It hit his hands and he should have caught it but it was not a good throw.

the throw to durham on the sideline is the only memorable throw from staff this season....that's not good. most of his TDs are jump balls that fauria, calvin, pettigrew have gone up and got. Im sure our punter could get the same results kicking punts into the endzone for touchdown passes.

I know. I'm not defending CJ...I have said he needs to catch that ball. But "some people" claim that Stafford plays well but it is the drops that are killing his production. I'm just trying to point out that some balls that are counted as drops really are not well thrown balls.
