If the Lions rebound and make the playoffs, should Schwartz still be fired?

Why can't we have a QB that hits you in the hands or chest. Fk.

Yes dropping passes is human but that throw on the two point conversion had no shot to be caught.. Frustrating but Matt is really regressing this year.. He has thrown the ball so poorly this year..He needs to admit that and so does our coaching staff instead of defending him..

Agreed bob....analysts even after the game kept saying calvin dropped it....I thought it was a horrid throw by staff.

No kidding. The thing was like 5 yards out of bounds. Only Stretch man would have had a chance.

Both throws to Calvin were good throws. And the 2 point conversion throw was a good throw. Sometimes you have to sit down against a zone. Calvin should have caught all 3.

I knew staff was going to have shit day the second his first pass was thrown 5 yards over Reggies head on a dump down. Its amazing to me how much he does that.

I didn't see the 2 point conversion. The first throw to CJ was a good throw and CJ 100% dropped that ball. The second was NOT a good throw. CJ was WIDE open running across the field. A good throw is out in front and at hand level so he can catch it in stride. Stafford's pass was low and behind causing CJ to slow to a near stop & to go to his knees to get his hands on it. Should he have caught the ball....yes....he is the highest paid WR in the league! But, it was NOT a good throw~!

In addition to that, it's also amazing how many times that dump pass has been dropped by Bush or Bell.

I wonder what that dump pass percentage looks like this season.

It was not low, it hit him right in the chest and he stopped in the middle of the zone. Drop by Calvin.

Didn't see the 2 point? How is that possible in such a huge game? The last TD drive was pretty great by Stafford and his weapons. Good throws in tight coverage.

watch it again and tell me it hit him in the chest. It was thrown low and behind forcing CJ to stop his momentum and reach back a bit. Like I said...he should have caught it but that was not a good throw.

I didn't see the 2 point attempt. I went to bed at halftime.

Stopped in the zone. Off his hands not low. That was a perfect pass to beat a zone. 99% on Calvin for that drop.

Tulloch should have sacked Flacco on the Delmas hit to the head. So damn close. Plus the arm bar by Webb and the miracle kick.

Ridiculous.

CJ just needs to use whatever Pettigrew has been using on his gloves.

tried to stop because the ball was behind him and low. It hit his hands below his waistline while bending down trying to stop. It hit his hands and he should have caught it but it was not a good throw.

just watched the rest of the highlights to the second 1/2. The 2 point confersion pass was also bad. No way CJ can catch that ball and still land in bounds.

the throw to durham on the sideline is the only memorable throw from staff this season....that's not good. most of his TDs are jump balls that fauria, calvin, pettigrew have gone up and got. Im sure our punter could get the same results kicking punts into the endzone for touchdown passes.

Yes it was given their was LB dropping and a CB on the other side. Perfect throw in a zone. That is all on Calvin. right in the bread basket. Easy catch.

I know. I'm not defending CJ...I have said he needs to catch that ball. But "some people" claim that Stafford plays well but it is the drops that are killing his production. I'm just trying to point out that some balls that are counted as drops really are not well thrown balls.

You just have a very poor memory. Same throw to Ogletree the week before as Durham. Great throw to Fauria on Monday. Great throw to Calvin to beat Bears. Great throw to Calvin to go up 10 on Redskins. Great throws to Ross and Burleson for TDs. You have the jump ball, you use it. Great jump ball throws. They are tough to throw too.
28 TDs and 2 great TD runs as well in wins.

Most of his drops are good throws. Very few are bad throws. The tape doesn't lie. There is room for improvement like every QB and every QB wants throws back.
