If the Lions rebound and make the playoffs, should Schwartz still be fired?

And the fact that you think that throw to Calvin was a bad throw, well I question your assessments.

Yes it was given their was LB dropping and a CB on the other side. Perfect throw in a zone. That is all on Calvin. right in the bread basket. Easy catch.

first you say it was chest high. Now you look at the photo and say it was in his bread basket. The pass forced him to try and stop, stoop down and catch the ball well below where his waiste would be if he was standing. Again...HE SHOULD HAVE CAUGHT IT but that was not a good pass!

IT WAS A ZONE. He had to stop. Stafford put it in the correct spot in the zone. Not every ball is the WR lead.

You just have a very poor memory. Same throw to Ogletree the week before as Durham. Great throw to Fauria on Monday. Great throw to Calvin to beat Bears. Great throw to Calvin to go up 10 on Redskins. Great throws to Ross and Burleson for TDs. You have the jump ball, you use it. Great jump ball throws. They are tough to throw too.
28 TDs and 2 great TD runs as well in wins.

you say tomato I say tomato....throw to fauria was a great catch. not a great throw. he lucky it wasn't picked if the defender would learn how to play the ball.

LOL just because there is tight coverage doesn't make it a bad throw. He put it in the perfect spot in a tight window. INCREDIBLE THROW

You can have a great throw and a great catch on the same play.

and every drop isn't 100% on the WR

Every incompletion isn't 100% on the QB either. More separation by weapons, wrong routes, better routes, batted balls, throw aways, incomopletions due to pressure, let the DB knock it away (lack of hand strength).

Well, you might be the only one questioning his assessment on this one. There was plenty of space for Calvin to catch a well-thrown ball and make a move before reaching the linebacker in the zone. Unfortunately he dropped it (he still should've caught it), but the throw was also poor like Tom said. It was below his waist and a little behind him.

to everyones point except LKP....these are routine throws and catches to wide open WRs (this one just so happens to be the best WR in the game) and we don't execute even the most routine of throws. And it happens evvvvvvvvvvverrrrryyy single game. Hes just not an accurate qb....

8 of 16 were inc were bad throws with three of those picked. 8 other inc on other lions

I have to agree with LKP on this one. Second drop is on Calvin too. Stafford threw it to a hole in the zone, it is Calvin's responsibility to get there. Everybody knows Calvin is not the best route runner.

Calvin should have caught all 3. There is no excusing the 1st two drops. Those aren't on Staff in any way. I think Calvin misread the 2 point conversion too. It was a simple back shoulder throw and he kept going up field....then he flailed to try and catch it.

Both throws to Calvin were good throws. And the 2 point conversion throw was a good throw. Sometimes you have to sit down against a zone. Calvin should have caught all 3.

Are you fkn kidding me? The 2 point conversion was way out of bounds. Even if he caught it - it wouldn't have counted. It was closer to the stands than the end zone.

10 yards out of bounds. He was probably saying "c'mon Matt"

Suh: "I love his scheme, love the way things go."

Wtf? Suh needs to pull his head out of his ass.

Why wouldn't Suh love this scheme? All he does is rush the passer, no read and react for the run just stay in your gap and get after the QB. Any D lineman would love this scheme.

I was right in front of that throw. Staff threw it to CJ on his back shoulder and CJ kept running. It looked like Calvin misread it and tried to adjust at the last minute. It would have been close. They should have done a jump ball anyways, CJ wins those 99% of the time anyways.

LOL that 2 point was perfect throw backshoulder. Calvin played it wrong and should have stopped and jumped. Easy TD. Not way out of bounds LOL
