Is Stafford a top 5 QB?

Brees, Rodgers, Brady, Peyton, Rivers, Big Ben at least...so No.

big ben really?....guy is a solid starter..so overrated lol

Let me know when Stafford accomplishes what Big Ben has over multiple seasons.

Making these leaps about Stafford after one good season is not wise IMO. He could be top 5 soon, maybe even by next year, but let's not jump to conclusions.

I can't believe some of us are still arguing about Stafford. It's fn mind-boggling.

And another thing. I refuse to argue with some imbecile about comparing Stafford and Hill. My brain will start bleeding....

As for Staff being a Top 5 QB? He's playing like one at least.....i'd go right now, in order..

1. Rodgers
2. Brees
3. Brady
4. Stafford
5. E. Manning

Name 3 better right now.. FOR 2011. You can't....

how about just use your damn brain...idc if he won super bowls..its easier to do so when you have a top 5 defense every year since you've been in the league..and a top running game/back....your talkin about a guy who has broken 20 td passes 3 times in 8 years....

i guess by your standards..ryan/flacco/sanchez are all better too then

This year rodgers brady brees romo and eli have played better. Shaub was untill he got hurt

Roesthlisberger is overrated for sure. He's on a team where it's defense first. They always had an above average running game.

He's the Troy Aikman of the 2000's.

Ben isn't really overrated. He gets a lot of credit for being clutch and playing hurt. Which he does.

Ok, i'll give you that. I still think he's overrated as a QB. Always have....

Imagine the Lions with a sniff of a running game? Wow!! When Best went down, the Lions suffered. Stafford and CJ can't do it on their own all the time. They did last Sunday though...;)

i agree with ben being clutch..but once again defense helps alot...do you think he could do what rodgers/brady/brees/manning do with their bad defenses? and record?....in fact anytime his team is mediocre his team record is also...he NEEDS that team to get him anywhere..

i know lol...stafford seems to be really good at playaction also...for as often as he's thrown the ball...his comp % isn't all that bad i don't think...(i didn't realize how bad eli's is until i looked it up lol)

I'd agree with that right there. People will mention Romo, but the guy is the opposite of clutch and he'll not only not win you big games in the clutch, he'll flat out lose you big games in clutch time.

That's for this year. Of course Manning and Big Ben have been better over the years, but right now Stafford is right there with anyone and having a great year. Stafford easily has the strongest arm of the top 5 or 6 QBs too.

Funny...the guy telling me to use my brain is also putting down Stafford in the top 5 after ONE season.

Hey, don't knock on Eli. He's having his best year as a pro to date. And i'm a Giants fan too.... ;)
