So conversation changing. Based LKP logic Romo>Cutler>Stafford>Brees>Manning

Any other idiot in the world believe that?

I never said that. You said that.

Cutler has regressed since then, Stafford is just as good as Romo and Brees and Peyton have progress since their first 61. I like Staffords chances of progressing.

Stafford 2-0 against Romo for the W/L people out there.

Huge passing yard numbers by a guy that throws the ball more than anyone in the game. Pretty hard to believe

And one thing I hate even more than misinformed people about the Lions. People putting words in my mouth. Because there are even bigger idiots out there who will believe I actually said that.

I don't beleive that either. See my above post. He put words in my mouth basically.

All I did is use the same logic as you did. Using Yards, TDs, INTs and completion percentage to declare who is better. It is a fact Romo had much better stats than Staffor through 61 games.

Look at Aaron Rodger I'm guessing he had much better stats than everyone through 61 games.

You ignore the fact that manning ha less offseasons to learn the game because he was healthy. He played 61 games midway through his 4th season, stafford had 5. Do you think Aarond Rodgers beneited from extra practice time? Or do you think he would of put up the same stats his rookie year regardless?

Also Stafford has two years of regressing, both statistically an fundamentally.

LKP is mad because I took how he was skewing stats and used the same logic to disprove him.

Stafford just has alot to prove LKP, playoff berths will do just that. We are all pulling for the guy, you just seem way to content with what he's done thus far in his career. If he's not getting the Lions into the playoffs, he's not doing enough, plain and simple.

You know when a player is not as good as you think? When you have to defend him against everyone else. If we were all on here saying, "Yes, Stafford is a great qb," none of this would exist. Do you think they have wars on the Denver board debating if Manning is any good? No, because he is. I don't get the absolute battle you go through defending the guy. You have said MULTIPLE times he is a "good" QB. You should expect more from your #1 pick overall, franchise player.

109 TD, 73 INT, and a career 83.1 QB rating doesn't cut it. And it's even more scary he peaked for a season, and then has regressed sharply. If he doesn't improve and take this team to the playoffs this season, he's done. Time to move on. Lions GMs have given him enough weapons. Time to prove it. None of this, "it was windy one half, not the 2nd." "Lions had to deal with the snow, not the Eagles." "Players didn't make plays for Stafford." Enough. Stop covering up for the guy.

Who gives a fk. $tafford will never be as good as those two..He isn't now, wasn't then and will never be. That's like comparing Johnny Morton to Herman Moore.

The problem is you are an idiot. I said Stafford through 61 was better than Peyton and Brees through 61. Not the current Peyton and Brees. If you can't interpret what I say properly, definitely don't put words in my mouth. And yes Stafford is good but has more to prove. Just like any QB not Peyton, Brady, Brees and Rodgers.

He didn't regress sharply. His team regressed sharply due to weapon injuries and less turnovers forced, more bad weather games. Notice fully healthy weapons in 2011, turnovers forced in 2011 and no bad weather games besides at Chicago (just wind) in 2011 (4 picks while hurt).

You keep bringing up bad weather..you're basically saying $tafford can't play unless it's 70+. Score.

Like I said before, could you imagine if Ford Field was outdoors? Stafford wouldn't have made it past his rookie year.

Bad weather affects passing games. Blizzards especially. It got worse in Pittsburgh at the very end for those last 8 passes. Just giving you all the facts and context. Brady sucked in his monsoons this year.

The point is it's pointless. Just because Two QBs that started their career in a different era (how man 5000 yard QBs were around during their first 61 game?) had slightly worse stats turned out to be elite does not mean Stafford will be.

When you have to justify 8 bad passes because the wind whipped up, you know you are grasping at straws.

That's more like it.
