Mortensen reporting Suh to Dolphins

If they are just as good then Mayhew is an even bigger failure than I thought. If we can replace two of his first round picks with the Saints back up DT and a 31 year old NT why not just trade all of our draft picks for other teams garbage? Hello Mike Thomas is that you? No I am happy with my long distance coverage, very happy if you get what I'm saying. Aha ahaha.....ha.

I have to wonder, are the Lions still better than the Seahawks, even without Suh and Fairley?

I never said just as good. Very good before is now good. The defense could end up being better. Year 2 and tulloch back

I think we're lucky slay or Mathis didn't get injured for any extended amount of time. Ansah needed to improve again and that will be more difficult without suh. Defense could be very very different and i wouldn't be surprised to see the secondary more exposed.

Shows how good Mayhew is and how he screwed he got with injuries year after year to our top secondary players (Delmas, Houston, Quin in 2013 (ankle).

Sherman, Thomas, Chancellor, those guys stay healthy year after year. Slay, Mathis, Quin stayed healthy and the Lions do great things on defense.

First 10 games stayed healthy 2011, healthy in 2014 (other than nickel/Dig first 3 games). 7-3 start with very good defensive performances and 11-5 season with a top 3 defense.

But agree we need Mathis back to start and then draft a corner in Round 1 or 2 in case of injury that could beat out Bentley/Lawson at nickel.

Browns just got tramon Williams....wonder if they will move any of their corners.

Jets are stacked too. Milliner or Gilbert. Alot of people wanted those guys when they were drafted. Not working out too well for those teams. Slay looks like an even better pick.

Browns lost Buster Skrine though so they added Tramon.

Miami lost to the Lions by 4 points at Ford Field. They aren't that bad of a team. Didn't they almost beat GB too? Suh might put them over the top. I doubt it, but it's possible. And yeah, Tannehill> Stafford

They sure as hell are not a good team. 7 wins for the Dolphins this year ....maybe. And I haven't even looked at their schedule.

Wouldn't mind taking a look at Miliner in a trade. I was on the Gilbert train last year, but word out of Cleveland is he's lazy and a douche.

Milliner has shown nothing on a good defensive team with a fantastic defensive coach. I just can't see giving anything up to bring him (and his contract) in.

He was injured this year. Struggled his rookie year.

3rd is definitely too steep imo. Marshall and Wallace went for a 5th round pick and even thought they're different positions, I can't see how Milliner, who had a poor rookie season followed by an injury plagued season, is worth more.

$ is a big reason he could be worth more. Wallace came with 10+ million dollar cap hit. Milliner would come with 1-2 million per season.

I would look at a 6th this year and a conditional pick next year (2016) perhaps high as a 4th based on playing time and production in 2015.

I think he could be worth a 4th or 5th, but we don't have those to offer this year.

If Milliner pans out, good on him. At the moment, there's no reason the Lions would want him. He has been a bad player who can't stay healthy.

Our morons didn't even file a tampering claim.....awesome.

The Dolphins signed Suh to a six-year, $114-million contract less than 24 hours into free agency, but Philbin, who said he hasn't been approached by the NFL about any tampering charges – the Lions have not filed a tampering claim

Is Mayhew somehow too proud, too stupid, or afraid if he tattles others will tattle on him?
