What day is it? That's right, its the same day as it always is. LKP troll day..

In fact if you go out to 16 games, the Seattle defense in '13 was still better than '14 for Detroit. Close in some categories but Seattle bests all of them.

Nope. Detroit the better defense. Run D, pass D, points. Lions a great team. I was damn right. Not a troll. Just I'm the only one who saw the great potential for this team.

2013 Seahawks:
Yards Game: 273.6
Rush: 101.6
Pass: 172.0
Points: 14.4

2014 Lions:
Yards Game: 283.4
Rush: 71.3
Pass: 212.1
Points: 15.8

Both Great, but Detroit is only better in Rush Yards allowed.

I'll take it!! Amazing what having a better coaching staff (minus lombardi) can do for a football team.

For me the most inportant stat is points. Which are both pretty damn good and pretty close. Giving up yards is going to happen. Most of all if you have big leads. For us we have not been in that situation and to be honest dont want to spend the time to look up Seattle for last year.

The main thing is our D is better than anyone ever expected(even you LKP) and have carried this team.

Wrong, LKP knew. He knew it all as he's said many times over he's smarter than all of us put together.

I called this as a top 5 defense and Seattle-esque (best in the league). Clearly I was right and saw the potential before the season.

Ill call it seattleesque if we stomp peyton manning in the super bowl like they did.

At least it's similar. :)

You thought our starting corners would be Chris Houston and Chris Greenwood, so, clearly, you were very wrong. Is either on an actual NFL roster yet?

No I thought it would Houston, Slay and Mathis. Then stuck with my Seattle prediction when Houston was cut with Slay and Mathis still starting. Stop making things up. I said Greenwood had a chance to be good. Has the measurables. I'm sure he would have been promoted and excelling if Vikings didn't steal him from the PS. Injuries hurt him only.

Didn't the lions flat out cut him? He's sitting on Minnesotas practice squad, if lions wanted him they could of easily signed him at any point during the season.

You also said Stafford was elite, and the offense would be unstopable. So pretty much you said the entire team would be great, and I guess you got lucky with one out of 3. Whats the old saying, even a broke clock is right 2 times a day.

If EVERY DAY I predicted an earthquake would hit The San Francisco area.....eventually.....I would be right, but it wouldn't make me Nostradamus.

Just because you said every unit and every player would be great this year doesn't make you a great talent evaluator LKP......just lucky.

Suh has come out and said he loves playing for Austin...atleast that's a move in the right direction. Doesn't have a ton to do with anything if the guy is just looking for the spotlight or to start a bidding war....but atleast he likes playing here.

Who the heck is our 3rd/4th corner right now anyways? Bentley, Lawson, Gorrer, Couplin...all gone. Guess I haven't really noticed whos been coming in at dime/nickel. Vaughn they must think is finally back to 100% healthy.
