The Lions already had favorable run matchups in 2013 thanks to two deep safeties all the time in fear of Calvin.

With Ebron they have favorable passing matchups now too for Tate and Ebron. Life was easy (thanks to Calvin) for Burleson, Broyles, Durham and Pettigrew but they didn't have the skillset to take advantage of the matchups. Tate and Ebron do.
