Ink, I'll tell you why I'm bothered. It shows you the pure inability for this franchise to do their due diligence. There was apparently no effort (going off the allotted time they used for the pick) in calling other people.
A tight end pick doesn't erase the need at wr. We are still one injury away from kris Durham. I've said it a million times, good passing teams stack up. Classic case is New Orleans. Graham, Colston, Kenny stills showed promise, they have all kinds of running backs. And they go with Brandin cooks. Don't be surprised to see Denver and Green Bay pick wideouts sometime today also.
If Ebron can catch like the elite TEs today, he's a fine enough pick. I don't expect him to be Graham or Gronkowski, because those guys have redefined the position. But if he can be Jordan Cameron (Browns), that's huge. Ebron's a great athlete and we still have Pettigrew in to block, so we can probably line him up as a WR half of his snaps and exploit size mismatches.
Jordan Cameron was selected 102nd.
Shocker, they both did exactly what I said in round two.
According to what has been said, plan A was trading up for Watkins. He was too expensive.
Plan B was Barr. He was gone.
Plan C was Ebron.
... Why wait at all? He IS your plan B. He's your elite prospect. You take him. You dont' get fancy. You don't deal. You take YOUR guy.
He's making a comparison between players abilities, what the fuck does it matter where he was drafted?
It's only ok if you use your entire clock.
If you don't, you aren't doing your due diligence.
Says who? Are they suppose to wait there silently in hopes someone might give then a future 1st round pick..we pick CJ rather quick too, maybe they should have waited :ugh:
he was being sarcastic lol. hes a firm supporter of turning cards in faster than anyone else in the nfl...ever.
value...something this organization pisses away year after year. ill never understand the idea of just throwing picks away. Best, Leshoure, Whitehead, Thomas, now Van Noy...its just the weirdest way of "building" from 0-16. .

Best, Leshoure, Whitehead, Thomas, now Van Noy...its just the weirdest way of "building" from 0-16. That's atleast 5 decent picks...POOF....gone....while youre trying to build a team that you received when coming off an 0-16 season. An 0-16 team should value these picks like gold. we don't....which is why we pick in the top 10 every year and the second someone gets a boo boo our season goes down the drain cause we have no depth.
You cant compare Jordan Cameron and Jimmy grahams production to Ebrons....ever. Cause they got great value with those picks by finding hidden gems. we spent the #10 overall pick on ebron....therefor he will NEVER EVER be an underpaid hidden gem that we got great value on and/or coached up to be one of the best in the league. On the contrary, if Ebron doesn't become the best in the league....he will be viewed as a bust....and yet just another on the looooong list of failed offensive weapons mayhew has tried to draft.
Van Noy was a wasted pick?? That's rich Hughes, even for you. No more crack for you, go to bed
I can't compare players abilities if they are drafted in different rounds? Wow.....that's just stupid.
Just......wow.
You used to post some semi intelligent shit from time to time.......it's just comedy now. Good work!
Give me some more of your wonderful nuggets of wisdom!
