Regardless who we picked where, Ebron and Noy are good football players and we needed a C.

Get StartedClevelands GM traded down, got a first round pick next year, Justin gilbert, and STILLLLL got the guy they were targeting at #4 ...at #22. He GM'd circles around our "I tried to trade up and down but failed...again...and again...and again" GM. That's why they are excited. They sold 2000 season tickets minutes after drafting Manziel. We had 2000 fans commit suicide.
Were our own rivals cause even when we do something good...like pick van noy.....its attached to something stupid....like trading up 5 slots for him and pissing away a 4th round pick lol. Its dumb that we constantly have to relive this shit...

You're seriously complaining over losing a 4th?? lol. We acquired a stud OLB and got a 5th back anyways. What's the problem?
And I can't wait for Manziel to either get arrested for something or get in some sort of trouble. Watch how fast that fanbase crucifies that little goof.
we lose a 4th every year lol. And I have to hear how our season was lost to turf toe every year cause we have no depth. Where the fuck do you think you get quality depth from?
Always bitching...never ends. Three 4's, had the ammo to trade and we did. What's the difference anyways? If Mayhew didn't trade at all, you would have bitched about that too...lol. Lose lose with you...
Or complain about who he took with the pick. And you know you would hughes.
I agree with Hughes. Bad value to trade up. Could have got a good player early 4th. Still like lions draft and think we have plenty of depth without a McGill or martavis Bryant.
If someone admits that they wanted van noy, only then was it a good trade
Kind of hard to what if..if we lose Suh, our QB, S, Ziggy, CJ etc we'll suffer. We have plenty of guys who can catch a ball..
It's just that losing CJ was a problem because Stafford sucked..now if lose him we have an added Tate and Ebron. If he can't get it done because one guy misses its time to look for another QB.
My 2 biggest question marks now that the draft is over are at DE and who will be our #2 WR if Calvin or Tate get injured.
I don't think Jason Jones will be able to consistently get to the QB, which is his job, and I'm not sure if Devin Taylor is ready to start. Daryl Tapp shouldn't get on the field other than special teams in my opinion and I highly doubt Larry Webster gets any time at DE in 2014 (he's too raw).
Right now it looks like Ogletree would be our #2 WR if Calvin or Tate go down and that's not too encouraging.

Jones was the starter and missed 12.5. He is a talent gain but injury concern. Taylor showed flashes and can take a step in year 2. I will take Taylor over Martin or tuitt or chrichton or any other round 2 de you want in 2014. Taylor has the size you want, produced in limited time and has year of experience and two nfl weight training offseasons.
The only reason you don't like Taylor is because he is not a shiny new draft prospect. Experience matters
I have to agree with LKP... and I can't say I feel good about it.
Jones looked absolutely destructive in pre-season last year, and made me think he could be one hell of a weapon on the D-line. When he went down early, Young took over, but I really liked what I saw out of Devin Taylor.
This kid is long, but he's not just tall, he uses his length very well. Very disruptive. He's got a bright future if they can keep him motivated.
The tag on him in college was that he had all the physical tools to be great, but he just didn't play hard every down. One of his own coaches said he was physically more gifted than Clowney, but he's got maturity issues.
I am hopeful Suh can help develop that killer instinct that takes him to the next level. When he plays hard, he's a force to be reckoned with.
