Game 2: Titans @ Lions Thread

Great coverage and there was a safety there. Incredible to put it only spot he could catch.

Lions won that game 19 16. Incompetent refs and injuries strike again

We played like shit.

Our coach said we played like shit. Our qb said we played like shit.

LKP blames the refs and says whitehead covers good. lmao.

Do they make you pay taxes in this fantasy world you live in where the ACTUAL final score doesn't matter? Do the laws of physics apply there? Is there magic and trolls and unicorns?

Tell us more about this place and how you get there? Does it involve mass quantities of cocaine, or do you just jump through a magical train platform that doesn't exist?

The advantage the Lions have now .. Seattle offense looks like shit. I don't see them as a lock anymore for the playoffs.

i think i saw they have 5 new starters on the oline (some of their people they kept changed positions) and Rusell on a bum ankle from Suh. Combination will jack up most offenses.

We had 19 3 lead truly. Two fluke drives with ansah and levy and almost every top linebacker out. Still ran without abdullah

Also the low hit by helmet of casey on stafford. Should have been a first down (we punted) and casey should be thrown out of league. Dirty

David Chao, a former team doctor for the Chargers who now analyzes injuries around the league -- rather accurately, too --
had this to say about Abdullah for The National Football Post:
"Ameer Abdullah left with a foot injury after a nifty run with several hard cuts. The good news is, by video, there was no obvious injury mechanism on that final play.
The bad news is one has to worry about potential fifth metatarsal stress fracture with all those hard cuts and no definitive misstep leading to his exit. X-rays were negative but that doesn't preclude a stress fracture."

Ameer Abdullah to get second opinion on injured foot, per reports.

Analyst: Stress fracture a concern for Abdullah.

I'm over the loss, I just hope we luck out on the injuries. Abdullah has looked good so far and losing him would be a huge blow IMO. Any word on Ziggy yet?

The Lions have cut TE Andrew Quarless, who came off the suspended list today. Detroit signed him during training camp.

No info on Ziggy.

Lions DE Ziggy Ansah suffered a high-ankle sprain in Sunday's loss, source said.
He'll miss an undetermined amount of time.

That sucks. How was the pass rush w/out him last week? Did Mariota have all day to throw, or was the the coverage just that bad?

Hyder left the volume turned up. But we need more than him. No past rush to speak of on Mariota's game winning drive.

Jesus Tulloch is flying all over the field for Philadelphia and we still couldnt use him ?

Worse LB crew in history. TE's will have field day's against us all year..
