Rivers sucks
if we had a 105.5 rated qb this year we would have been 12-4 with our shitty schedule. but we had a qb that finished the last half of the year with a 38 qbr....pathetic.

Get StartedRivers sucks
Rivers sucks
Did he sleep with your wife or something? If Rivers stinks than Stafford is the worse QB ever.
He just sucks. You'll see Sunday

Looks like Lovie Smith has Jeff Tedford as his OC lined up. Tedford coached Rodgers but also Joey Harrington.
Can Tedford fix Stafford with Lovie running the D?
Tedford would do wonders for Stafford. Remember that Harrington's problems stemmed from a bad oline and getting happy feet. Also he was not a west coast guy at all. Just didnt have it always was a deep ball thrower and should have never been taken that high. Stafford is a gamer who has shown what he can be both terrible and great. Coming out of college Rodgers had some question marks just like Stafford. I would really like that duo coming in though. Never loved Lovie maybe because he worked with the bears who i loathe but you can't question his success. He has more defensive pieces in Detroit than he had in Chicago especially along that dline. Our lbs are capable but certainly not urlacher and briggs good. Our secondary needs work but I think there are playmakers back there but scheme killed them. We gave up to many big plays early in the season when we played close so gun pushed them back when he should have either blitzed more or zone blitzed more and tried to take away some of the underneath stuff. We didnt run a zone blitz all year that I can remember. We have athletes along the dline and it would have helped change the timing for qbs. But I guess they thought running aimlessly at qbs was more effective.
Harrintons problems were because he had no talent, noodle arm with no accuracy.
But his fundamentals were flawless. Took very few sacks and was usually careful with the ball early in games. But we were always behind and wasn't talented enough to win games. Tedford would be a good edition.
When you throw the ball quick you're not going to get sacks. How is that a plus for the QB? Staff isn't the reason he's not getting sacked. I rather him risk a sack and maybe try to read more than 1 option.
Staff is the reason he wasn't getting sacked. He was the fastest in getting rid of the ball early on in the year. During his slump he was taking sacks at the worst time. Because he wasn't trusting what he was seeing. Holding the ball to damn long. He has stopped throwing it away for some reason. Coaching hurt him this year. Even faster than Manning. I want him to see the defense and see what is going to happen instead of force what he wants. He struggles manipulating the defense with his eyes, which the greats all do. He can learn that and it can be built into scheme. To many times the plays were predictable especially when we went 5 wide which teams killed with cloud coverage. (not hard to figure out you are going short, medium and long) Not enough play action from under center which would have given him more lanes given how well we ran the ball. I am almost sick of that fake delay from the shotgun. It wasnt effective. He needs to sell it better by getting under center and getting his back to the LOS like Manning and Brady do so well. HIDE THE DAMN BALL!!! So common sense and football knowledge would have gone a long way in changing this season.
He was the fastest because he looked at one guy. Fact. If he was covered he would throw it anyway and rarely he would find a RB and then sail it over his head.
Thats not fact. He had over a 60% completion at that point and was hitting guys all over the field. I would like to see more timing patterns out of these guys since I think he is somtimes a little late but it might just not be possible with how fast his pass gets there.
what are the current rumors on the coaching search
