If you have run support and protection, you can have alot of TDs and it helps lower your ints. The more for each the better obviosly.
If you have boatload of turnover support (way over 30) from your defense, your QB can have alot of TDs and a good QB rating. And needs less attempts so less risk of ints. I'd say Stafford's 41 TD season had a lot to do with our defense forcing 34 turnovers. Stafford got a chance to shine. And as an elite QB he did shine.
2012 run and protection issues, drop issues, only 17 turnovers force. Injured defense that gives up leads. Zero chance to shine.
2013 had protection and run support (not alot at just exactly 4 YPC) but had drop issues and 22 turnovers forced. Some chance to shine and some shining with his 29 TDs, good 3rd % and good yardage and good first downs amounts. The ints we have gone over why they aren't his fault. Many drops too. Hurts comp % and hurts QB ratinng. Injured secondary that gives up extra big plays. 9 losses
2014 Stafford, new offense, no protection and run support, many weapon and Oline injuries. 27 turnovers helped but not way over 30. Some chance to shine. He did shine avoiding turnover, and getting crucial TDS and first downs. 11 wins. But the stats aren't there without run support, weapon health and protection.
What are you talking about..he had 4.3 in run support in 2013. That is a decent amount.
