Tired of talking about 2013 and before.....

A rookie TE who's never taken a snap scares who? Who exactly is accounting for him over CJ, Bush, Tate? If anything he should be wide open every play Tony, UNDERSTAND?

What??!! Congrats!! You just reached Mitch level on your understanding of the game of football. Bravo!!

Lol....you're showing your ignorance.

Think anyone will account for Sammy Watkins? He's a rookie, he hasn't proven anything.

I can't even name another receiver on that team retard. Ebron isn't getting doubled by anyone right off the bat turd-lips.

How is he opening things up for anyone Tony explain it for me with your vast football knowledge. He's going to draw coverage away from whom exactly? Try explaining yourself for a change, or are you too drunk?

Keep reaching, bud lol

Before and after the draft, all the mocks had this kid pegged as a Graham/Davis type player. Attaboy.

I gave you half a dozen examples. Maybe you can give me an example where Mayhew says hold off he won't be that good as a rookie....I'll wait.

Let's take last year as an example of why I'm disappointed in this guy as the Lions qb. Last 2 games, when the division was on the line, again, and again, and again (Hell, I'll even throw out the Philly game when he put it on the turf 5 games, and for whatever reason Foles only did once).

Monday night, home, in the lights, critical game against a pretty average Baltimore team:
18/34, 235, 1 td/3 int

Home against NYG, 25/42, 222, 0 td/2 int

He had a chance to do what great QBs do and lead average-above average teams to the playoffs. And he choked it away. I'm tired of hearing about his hordes of talent, how he can make every throw. He needs to show why he was a #1 qb. He's out of excuses.

Tony, why are you talking about what the mocks had him pegged as? You hated the pick.

Dub only these chumps wouldn't admit the guy has been a colossal disappointment.

You mad bro?? lol.

I'll say it like this. Maybe you'll get it? Ya know how when CJ goes out on routes and is constantly double/triple teamed by a CB, a nickel CB and even a Safety over the top? Well, that should change significantly with Ebron. Our other TEs usually had LBs draped all over them, capiche? Ebron on a LB is a wet dream and when Ebron and CJ both go deep, you'll see more Safety help on Ebron. Calvin will usually get doubled but he should have more one-on-ones with CBs this year. Same goes with Tate too. It's not just the Calvin Johnson show anymore.

You get it? Do i need to tattoo this shit on your fn forehead?

Tony, they added Tate before the draft. Before the draft, they have Calvin, Tate, Pettigrew, two great pass-catching RBs, and an O-line that never gives up sacks. The Ebron pick is overkill.

Teams that have won the superbowl in the past 5 years have done so with a solid TE, didn't have to have Jimmy Graham. That's why we expect him to be a game breaker early, because that's what he was drafted to do. It's a luxury pick. If they don't have the patience to develop a CB/Safety (which is what they actually need), why should we be patient with Ebron?

I never claimed anything retarded such as that. And if you think by Mayhew saying Ebron could have a Jimmy Graham "presence" is in itself calling him the next Jimmy Graham, then you need to brush up on your comprehension skills. Because he's not.....

Yeah, and Bell fumbled TWICE in the Philly game

And CJ had TWO humongous drops against Baltimore that took points off the scoreboard. Tucker hits s miracle FG and we lost.

Try again.

To get safety help migrating from CJ to Ebron, Ebron will have to be beating defenses consistently. 3 catches for 40 yards ain't getting any rolled coverage my man.

Tony, why are you talking about what the mocks had him pegged as? You hated the pick.

Me hating the pick has nothing to do that. All the mocks i read had him labeled as a Graham/Davisctype football player.

So when we bring over Joe Lombardi from the SAINTS, the comparison gets even bigger than it really is.

He's playing Jimmy Graham's position and got drafted in the top ten and we can't expect anything more than 3 catches for forty yards. You know you've been Mayhew'd when.

Why did you hate the pick then Tony?

OMG. You're rolling with the 3 for 40 statement? Dude, it was an example of one game. ONE!! If you watch college football, you would know that Ebron goes deep more than your average TE. Therefore you'll see more Safety and nickel CB help on him IMO. When that happens, you should see less help on other players. And if you really want to get cute, i think it even helps out Tate more with a lot of underneath stuff because his strength is the YAC.

You writing this down?

I never said those were the numbers expected. I used a one game sample....
